Nintendo suing Bowser over Switch hacks – Polygon

Nintendo filed a lawsuit on Friday night against Team Xecuter leader Gary Bowser for creating and selling Nintendo Switch hacks.

Nintendo of America filed a lawsuit Friday against Gary Bowser, a reported leader of hack creators Team Xecuter. Bowser and another Team Xecuter member, Max Louarn, were arrested and charged with 11 felony counts in 2020. The new lawsuit alleges Bowser infringed on Nintendos copyright in creating and selling its hacks. The lawsuit, filed in a Seattle court, is looking to charge Bowser with two trafficking counts and one copyright violation.
