DES MOINES, Iowa —Iowas COVID-19 positivity rates continue to decline, and fewer Iowa counties report a rate greater than 15% Friday.
The Iowa Department of Public Health reported 1,347 new positive COVID-19 cases and six additional deaths. As of 10 a.m., the health department reported 302,789 total positive cases, 263,833 total recoveries and 4,257 total deaths since the start of the pandemic. The health department reported 301,442 total cases and 4,251 total deaths a day earlier.
