Herbert announces changes to Utah’s COVID-19 restrictions –

SALT LAKE CITY Governor Gary Herbert announced major changes to the state’s COVID-19 response on Tuesday as cases continue to surge in the Beehive State.
Utah is dropping its color-coded coronavirus health guidance scale in favor of a more streamlined “COVID-19 Transmission Index,” which ranks each of the state’s counties in “High,” “Moderate” or “Low” transmission levels.
